One of the great things about Lake Erie Gala is you can improvise! For our early arrivals, Gala Registration will open from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Two spas are located near by along with lots of trans-friendly shopping. Gala Management Team members will be in the hotel lounge at 6:00 PM for cocktails. Dinner at a local restaurant and evening clubbing are not included in any Gala
package.
TUESDAY / NOV. 14TH
Early arrivals can spend the day shopping at the many trans-friendly stores located a short drive from the hotel or treating themselves to a pampered day at a spa. Lake Erie Gala Registration will open from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Gala Management Team members will be in the hotel lounge at 6:00 PM for cocktails. Dinner at a local restaurant and evening clubbing are not included in
any Gala package. The vendor room will be open from noon to 5:00 PM. The Hotel lounge is open daily from 1:00 PM to closing every day.

WEDNESDAY / NOV. 15TH
Lake Erie Gala Registration will open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We will be departing for dinner at the Trance Dance Club at 6:30 PM (its included in your Package A registration). We will be joined by the leadership of the local GLBT community to further understanding of Transgender issues. A day of shopping, sightseeing, and visiting with old and new friends will surely make dinner a necessity before an evening in the hotel lounge or dancing at one of the local trans-friendly clubs. The vendor room will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Hotel lounge is open daily from 1:00 PM to closing every day.

THURSDAY / NOV. 16TH
The Lake Erie Gala officially begins today with registration open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The bus tour departs the front of the hotel promptly at 9:45 AM. Enjoy visiting the Johnson Estate Winery for a taste of their finest in Westfield New York followed by a seasonal salad at the Kelly Hotel; a restored stage coach stop from the early 1800?s (allegedly haunted!). After lunch, a stop at the Arrowhead Winery to see how wine is made and to taste some of the best of this season?s production is you stop before lunch. Lunch is at the New Harvest restaurant and Pub. Desert will be at the Presque Isle Winery and you will return to the hotel by 4:00 PM in time to dress for cocktails at 6:30 PM, dinner at 7:30 PM, followed by the fantastic Dueling Pianos at 8:30 PM.

FRIDAY / NOV. 17TH
Registration will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The bus tour departs the front of the hotel promptly at 9:45 AM. Enjoy visiting the new Tom Ridge Environmental Center at Presque Isle and then to Union Station for a tour of this fantastic facility and a buffet luncheon. The Erie Brewing Company welcomes you after lunch and then a stop at the world famous Romolo?s Chocolates Factory before returning to the hotel at 3:30 PM. Stop by our vendor room before the optional trip to the Station Dinner Theater is this evening with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Be sure to wear something nice like you?ve always wanted to wear to an evening of Holiday entertainment. Carpool with friends (there is always room for a new friend!). Afterwards we'll head out clubbing or stay at the hotel for fun. For those who would rather have dinner with friends, the registration office will have directions to a number of excellent trans-friendly restaurants.

SATURDAY / NOV. 18TH
Registration will be open and our vendors will be in place to serve you from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunch in the hotel Garden Room is at 1:00 PM. The Hotel lounge is open daily from 1:00 PM to closing every day. Afternoon naps and visits to or Vendors will be followed by a formal dinner and a fantastic style show in the hotel ballroom. (If you would like to participate, contact Laura Miller in the registration office upon arrival) A DJ will add excitement to the hotel lounge after the style show for your enjoyment into the early hours.

SUNDAY / NOV. 19TH
There is a breakfast buffet from 8 to 10 AM (Feminine dress optional). Several of the girls last year came dressed in female attire. Most didn't. It's time for fond farewell hugs, e-mail exchanges and saying bye to great new girlfriends. Feel free to contact us with any questions about the gala by clicking the e-mail box below.
